Background - The purpose of this link is to display pictures of birds found in North America.  When I first started doing this, I was not that familiar with the various birds.  However, one the joys of taking pictures is that it enables me to research the birds for which I have pictures. As a result, you learn more about their habits and where they are found.

Introduction - My collection is more extensive than what is shown here.  However, I have tried to present a representative sample of what I have taken to this date.
